National Young Worker Safety Resource Center The National Young Worker Safety Resource Center (YWSRC) is a collaborative project of U.C. Berkeley’s Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP) and the Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) in Massachusetts. Young workers have high rates of job-related injury. These injuries are often the result of the many hazards present in the places they typically work, such as sharp knives and slippery floors in restaurants.
